Sai Pallavi has reportedly taken Rashmika Mandanna’s place in the 2021 sequel to Allu Arjun’s movie “Pushpa: The Rise.”
According to recent rumours, Sai Pallavi reportedly replaced Rashmika Mandanna as the lead in Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Later, however, media reports claimed that Sai Pallavi was negotiating for a different role in the upcoming movie.
Her most recent social media update has refuted rumours that Rashmika Mandanna would be replaced in Sukumar’s film.
Recently, Rashmika Mandanna conducted an impromptu “Ask Me Anything” session on social media to engage with fans directly.
Pushpa 2 was on the actor’s list of upcoming projects when she mentioned them during the open conversation.
Rashmika quickly replied when a fan inquired about her “next movie update”: “4 and many more surprises are coming your way. Animal, Pushpa 2: The Rule, Mission Majnu, and Varisu.
She captioned this reply with a photo of herself getting ready in a stunning white saree for an event.
Sai Pallavi has reportedly been approached to play the actor’s sister in the follow-up movie.
Rashmika Mandanna played Allu Arjun’s love interest Srivalli in the first part of the movie.
Director Sukumar is reportedly considering Sai Pallavi to play a robust tribal girl character who will appear in Pushpa 2.
Her segment will last roughly 20 minutes. Aishwarya Rajesh is reportedly another option the producers are rumoured to consider if the actor denies playing the part.
However, Sai Pallavi and the producers have yet to confirm or deny the reports.
Pushpa: The Rise’s first instalment was published in 2021.
Red sandalwood, a rare wood that only grows in Andhra Pradesh hills, was the movie’s subject, which followed the growth of a smuggling syndicate.
Fahadh Faasil also appears in the movie as a police officer.
Only at the very end of the movie is Faasil introduced, and he appears in part 2.
Though the release date has not yet been announced, the sequel will likely hit theatres in 2023.

The diva listed the titles of the movies that will be released in 2023 in response to a fan’s request for an update on her upcoming film.
She referred to “Animal,” “Mission Majnu,” “Varisu,” and “Pushpa 2” to demonstrate the falsity of the rumours about her replacement in that film.
On December 17, 2021, Sukumar’s action comedy “Pushpa: The Rise” was released in theatres. Allu Arjun played the lead in the widely acclaimed movie. A character in the movie was Fahadh Faasil.
